On this unforgettable journey you may find Alaska's unique glaciers in differing stages: advancing, retreating, cascading, or a one-of-a-kind floating glacier. Land on Norris Glacier, where you meet top Iditarod racer Lindwood Fiedler’s dog mushing team.

This truly Alaskan adventure gives you the rare opportunity to mush your own sled team. Learn the tricks of the trade from seasoned veterans of the Iditarod Race. Master the all-important commands of Hike! Gee! and Haw! Experience the unique thrill of zipping across a glacier behind a team of huskies.

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW

  • Duration includes 30 minutes of flight time and 1 hour on the glacier.
  • Tour includes approximately 25 minutes of dog sledding.
  • Due to aircraft weight limitations and to insure passenger safety and comfort, passengers weighing 250 pounds and over will be required to report accurate weights prior to day of flight for weight and balance manifesting. Due to length of tour and passenger loads, all passengers will be required to "weigh in" at heliport. For passengers requesting additional seating space, a fee may apply.
  • Helicopter tours may have different cancellation policies to other tours. Please check with your cruise line regarding these.
  • If the tour is cancelled by the helicopter company due to weather, you will be refunded the full amount automatically.
  • Tour operation depends on glacier snow conditions and usually runs from mid-May through late August.
  • Glacier boots and round trip transportation to heliport is included.
  • Dress warmly and in layers. You'll need a good jacket, hat, gloves, sunglasses and your sense of adventure!
