Binoculars are provided for intimate wildlife viewing. Eagles, of course, are guaranteed and harbor seals and moon jellyfish are often spotted. Whales, deer, blue heron and a variety of sea birds are common. Photo opportunities abound on this trip. Lighthouse, Totems & Eagles Excursion Tour Testimonials
  • I just wanted to let you know that my wife and I took your Lighthouse, Totems, and Eagles tour this past June. It was very enjoyable and we consider it to have been one of the best tours that we took on our cruise. We had shore excursions at every port of call so we had plenty of things to compare with your product. Thanks. Geoff Ward, Hixson, TN

  • I just wanted to tell you again how much I enjoyed your tour on June 3, 2005. I was on the morning cruise with you. Your boat was both very comfortable and clean. The staff were very friendly and always ready to answer questions.
I have visited Ketchikan on each of my 8 cruises to Alaska. I have taken many enjoyable shore excursions on those cruises, but I can say I enjoyed your excursion the best.
It was very entertaining and educational. It also provided the BEST bald eagle viewing that I have experienced while in Alaska. The cruise past Totem Bight State Park was enjoyable, as was viewing the many homes along the way and learning a little about them. I WOULD LIKE TO HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOUR EXCURSION TO ANYONE VISITING KETCHIKAN. IT IS WELL WORTH THE COST, AND ANYONE TAKING THIS EXCURSION WILL NOT REGRET IT. Thank You. David Nixon, Versailles, Ohio

  • We just wanted to thank you for a great excursion August 11, 2008. The trip was quite memorable and is listed by my daughter as her favorite thing we did in all our cruise to Alaska. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip and had a great time. A special thank you to Captain Bob who paid extra attention to my daughter, Elizabeth, and taught her to be his "Radar Operator". She had such a great time and this attention meant a lot to her (and me). She found it great fun that she could return the favor and teach him something new: a new word: Humongo (as in: that cable ship was Humongo!). Thank you again." Julie Gibson, Bettendorf, IA

  • My husband and I went on your excursion about 2 weeks ago while on our Alaskan cruise, and we are writing to say that we had the BEST time! Not only for all the infromation that was provided for what we were viewing, but there were eagles in ABUNDANCE! More than we have ever seen at one time-especially here in New York! Your crew was outstanding-our favorite was Princess!!! And I have made the salmon dip that you served on board, and people just can't get enough of it!!! We both agree that this was by far, the best shore excursion we experienced during our cruise! If we should ever make our way back to Ketchikan, we will definitely make it a point to come back and visit you all again!!! And we will most certainly let any friends or other Princess cruisers know that your tour is the way to go!!!! Thanks again!!!" Chris & Samantha, New York

  • My wife and I were recently in Alaska, having taken a cruise to this incredible state. It was our first time to Alaska, and it's beauty is forever etched into our memories. We truly feel that Alaska is God's greatest masterpiece. We miss it's beauty, its tranquility, and it's freshness. It's so unspoiled and natural. We are making plans to return next year.
On Thursday July 13, we took your excursion, Lighthouse, Totems, & Eagles. It was the BEST excursion we took, and we both enjoyed it immensely. Your "crew", whose names escape me, were magnificent. They both were polite, catered to our needs, answered all of our questions, and tried to make sure that we saw every eagle, eagle's nest and seal that you pointed out to us. Both were young. The girl was a native Ketchikanian, and the guy was attending college in Oregon (I believe) and was living with his grandmother along the coast of Ketchikan.
I saw 27 Eagles the day of our excursion and several nests. The image of an eagle in full flight swooping down and catching a fish in the river 50 yards in front of me is still vivid in my mind.
When the excursion was over, we thanked you and told you how much we enjoyed your excursion. You asked that we indicate our pleasure to Princess Cruise Lines via their rating cards. I wanted to tell you that we did just that. We gave Lighthouse, Totems & Eagles the highest rating possible. It was the only excursion we rated that high.
I also told several people at work about your delicious salmon spread. I guess I must have whetted a few appetites because I have gotten many requests for your recipe. I copied it from the back of your business card and gave it to those who requested it.
I again wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed your excursion, your salmon spread, your crew, and Princess, your dog. Your narration, your stories, and your knowledge of what we were seeing were exemplary. Thanks again. Len & Lisa Trager.
PS. We can't forget Princess, the cookie loving dog. She was a highlight for us and we enjoyed her company.
